Dr. T Millward has made such a difference to my mental health since he joined St Mary's hospital Kettering. I have several positives that I would like to thank and recommend Dr. Millward for. I find going to appointments quite difficult and suffer with increasing anxiety leading up to and during my appointment. * The difference for me personally has been his approach to my mental health from his first greeting of a soft, considerate toned voice and his relaxed manner. * A massive difference to me has also been that he is the first consultant that has taken the time to read my notes before I arrive :) :) AND HAS NOT!!!! asked me to go through my destructive, painful past.... which has been very negative and self-destructive for me in past appointments with other consultants avoiding further appointments with them. * I have found he LISTENS and remembers past discussions without changing his facial expression or tone of voice which has left me feeling......... *I HAVE finally FOUND someone DOES CARE and DOES WANT TO HELP ME feel BETTER :) :) * Dr. Millward talked through what is available to me, what he feels might be the best possible approach and management of my mental health also giving me the opportunity to talk through my thoughts and feelings about these approaches with him. Its the first time since needing support from the mental health team (10 years plus)that I feel positive about my future. It is truly amazing how much difference the approach from a good psychiatrist can make to an individual needing help and support from the mental health team. For me personally Dr. Tim Millward is that psychiatrist Thank you Dr. Millward.

Tim is one those people that you feel instantly at ease with .Very professional and honest, he is still treating me with all the complex problems I have at the moment .

Dr Millward has been amazing. He recently took over my care after a poor experience. In the past week he has helped me more than I have been helped since my journey began. He listens to what I have to say, shows understanding and offers effective support. I am so grateful for his help and highly recommend him.

One of the best Mental Health Consultants I've ever had the pleasure of interacting with. He does NOT get the recognition he deserves, a great doctor, and, a great person, he is a valued member of the NHS Mental Health Service in my eyes. Always listens, always wants to help, very honest and very good with people :)
